Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, otherwise known as Juli, is a mother of three, with two who have learning differences.She has lived in the United States for 20 years and is an integral leader in her community for immigrant rights. Now she is missing, and her loved ones and attorneys are fighting for her to return home. Juli’s loved ones state that they have not been able to find her on a detainee locator.Although they do not know her exact location, her daughters received two phone calls from her on Thursday and Friday, during which she described her experience so far. Juli’s attorney, Stephano Medina, recounted the phone calls in court. According to Medina, Juli stated that she was driving down Alameda Street on June 25th when she noticed two trucks following her.
